I’m pretty sure I caught Wanda Sykes filming this in Washington Square Park last summer.
Taking Pointe classes for the first time in several years. Very excited to start dancing again, wish me luck.
I saw Bridesmaids with three of my girlfriends last night. Going in, I did not have good or bad opinions, I was simply there because we couldn’t stand being the only 21 year old females at a house concert filled with middle-aged gay men we’d won tickets to. The Theatre just happened to be down the road from where we were.
I left pleasantly surprised. In a society where comedy is strongly male-dominated, this film shows that Chick Flicks are not just for sorority girls who want a bonding experience. While there are male characters, Kristen Wiig’s love interest (a very cute but refreshingly average-looking man) plays a small part, and Jon Hamm (who proves decent in acting by portraying the world’s biggest creep); the theme is centered around a group of women who struggle to stay loyal to each other as their lives change and move in different directions. With her awkward sex scenes, drug use, and pants shitting, Wiig makes us funny ladies look bad ass.
Moments to look forward to: Plane trip to Vegas / Bridal Shower sabotage.

My boys.
Brothers are the worst. Then you move far away and wish they were with you all the time. Oh the irony.
